
Inland Empire United Way funds and partners with successful community nonprofit organizations to meet our financial stability goals, including food, shelter, rental assistance, legal aid, and counseling for low-income and homeless families.
Inland Empire United Way and its Community Impact Partners are providing effective programs in our community to:
- Increase access to income supplements for low-income families and individuals
- Reduce/eliminate barriers to employment for families in poverty
- Provide food and shelter to low-income and homeless families and individuals
Programs operated directly by Inland Empire United Way include:
Community Voice Mail provides low-income families and individuals with access to telephone voicemail service to encourage job attainment and stable housing.
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) provides tax clinics staffed by trained college-student volunteers that assist income qualified individuals with basic tax preparation at no charge.
