Elmwood Park, NJ — The Craft & Hobby Association (CHA) partnered with the Kids In Need Foundation to raise funds, secure product donations, and generate greater awareness during the CHA Craft SuperShow and 69th Annual CHA Winter Convention & Trade Show, which will be held in Anaheim, CA January 22–27.

CHA will host a Kids Craft Fair on January 21 for 200 at-risk children at the local Boys & Girls Club of Fontana, plus two fundraising events: the World’s Largest Crop Attempt on January 23 at the Craft SuperShow and a silent auction held during the annual CHA Winter Trade Show. Proceeds and CHA member product donations will support children and teachers in under-funded and economically disadvantaged schools in Southern California through a Kids In Need Foundation partnership with Inland Empire United Way’s education and health initiative, KidSmart. The Kids In Need Foundation mission is to provide free school supplies to students most in need.

Also at the CHA's 2010 Winter Show, John "Gib" Mullan, director of compliance and field operations for the U.S., Consumer Product Safety Commission will speak \about the CPSIA and the latest developments surrounding these regulations on Monday, January 25 from 9-11 a.m. in Anaheim Convention Center, 2nd Floor, Room 204B. Following the presentation Rick Locker, CPSIA legal counsel retained by CHA, will join Mullan for an open Q&A forum.
