Local Nonprofit Leaders Surveyed - Nonprofit Survey to bring attention to sector needs

San Bernardino County, CA (October 29, 2007) – Three area United Ways and a nonprofit networking group are encouraging nonprofit leaders in San Bernardino County and the Pomona Valley to complete a survey to gather insight into the assets/needs of the regional nonprofit sector. The survey is available via www.ieuw.org and should only take 10-12 minutes to complete. The deadline for completing the survey is November 21. The survey asks questions regarding nonprofit organizations’ capacity around professional development, executive leadership, organizational governance and leadership succession.

The results of this survey will be shared with the nonprofit community, public and private sectors, and government constituents, to be used as a guide for strategic planning purposes, including bringing attention and funding to the nonprofit sector within the region.

To request a hard copy of the survey, contact Allan Collins, IEUW Pathways Director at (909) 980-2857 ext. 243 or acollins@ieuw.org.

The report will be available to the public in early 2008 and was made possible by the collaborative efforts of the Nonprofit Executive Network, Mojave Valley United Way, Desert Communities United Way and Inland Empire United Way.
