'Tis the season for the KidSmart Holiday Program -
helping local low-income children have a happier holiday season
Inland Empire, CA (November 7, 2007) – The 2007 Inland
Empire United Way (IEUW) KidSmart Holiday Program is now in full
swing! From now until December 14, IEUW invites you (as an
individual or group) to participate in a community effort to
provide a happier holiday season for homeless and very
low-income children in our local schools. Please join us in
making the holidays more enjoyable for a child.
Local businesses, community groups or families are encouraged
to:
- Conduct a Holiday Drive - Perfect for companies or groups!
Drives are fun and easy. Some suggestions include Toy Drives,
Book Drives, Kids’ Winter Wear Drives, Children’s DVD/Video
Drives, Sports Equipment Drives, Crayons & Coloring Book
Drives.
- Adopt a Child or Family - Purchase gifts from a wish list
and help make a child’s holiday dreams come true. Don’t have
time to shop? You can sponsor a child by making a financial
donation, and we will take care of the rest.

helping disadvantaged kids succeed in school, providing easy
access to health and social services, developing opportunities
for volunteers to create positive change, and strengthening
